Microsoft Security Advisory 943411 Released

Although I mentioned Security Advisory 943411 in the Microsoft Security Bulletin Release Notice, I wanted to provide a bit more information for Windows Vista users who received the update without having additional information on its purpose.

This Security Advisory has as its
purpose to enable Windows Sidebar to block potentially vulnerable gadgets. To better understand how Windows Sidebar Protection helps block installed gadgets from running in Windows Sidebar, see Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 941411.

The additional references may also be of interest as well as the links to Sidebar Gadgets in Windows Vista Customizations bookmarks.
