It was posted earlier at the Microsoft Security Blog that there were some network issues on the Microsoft Update platform, delaying the October security updates. The blog was updated about an hour ago that the network issues with Microsoft Update were resolved and the updates were being replicated out to Microsoft Update, Automatic Updates, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Windows Update v6. As I do updates to various server lists in my "real life job", I know that those updates can take up to two hours to replicate across our corporate servers. Considering the content and the high level of "hits", this could take a bit longer. Please be patient and not alarmed if you do not get the updates today.
