Firefox 3.0.2 Password Bug

Firefox 3.0.2 is unable to read or write saved passwords which contain non-ASCII characters. Firefox developers are aware of the problem and working on a patch.

In the meantime, it will be necessary to manually type any passwords containing non-ASCII characters. Should that present a problem, see alternative solutions in the Firefox Knowledge Base.
