The Microsoft March 2026 security updates have been released and consist of 84 new CVEs to Microsoft products. In addition, there is 1 third-party and 9 chromium CVEs included.
Of the Microsoft CVEs released, 8 are rated Critical and the rest are rated Important in severity. At the time of release, two are listed as publicly known but none as being actively exploited.
The security updates apply to the following products, features and roles: Windows and Windows components, Office and Office Components, Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), Azure, SQL Server, Hyper-V Server, and the Windows Resilient File System (ReFS).

I use W10 and have the extended service. My computer is from 2009 and I'm aware of the certificate updates being released this year.
Dell is not providing any firmware updates that would update my computer's certificates. I searched my Windows Services and noticed that updated services from Microsoft have been downloaded but not installed.
Is there any way for me to access these updates and manually install the certificates provided by Microsoft? If it is possible, is there a very simple procedure available that can be provided to manually install the updated certificates?

Stumped by step One. Which files and where do I find the certificate files for W10 home edition? My services says they are downloaded but not how to access them. (I'm also having a problem finding that service message now)
Under certificate Propagation it states: Copies user certificates and root certificates from smart cards into the current user's certificate store, detects when a smart card is inserted into a smart card reader, and, if needed, installs the smart card Plug and Play minidriver.
This means nothing to me.
The files I found on-line reference servers and videos online have different files as well.
How do I find the appropriate certificate files for W10 Home Edition?
It wasn't in Services I found the comment about certificates. I remember now it was in the Windows Events.
