Adobe Acrobat/Reader Security Update

 

Adobe is releasing an update that addresses critical and moderate updates for Acrobat and Acrobat Reader.

Adobe Acrobat and Reader are being updated to version 25.001.20997.  Updates should become available via the internal updater or checks can be manually activated by choosing Help/Check for Updates.

Microsoft December 2025 Security Updates

 

The Microsoft December 2025 security updates have been released and consist of 56 new CVEs to Microsoft products and with third-party Chromium updates, the total CVEs is 70.  

Of the Microsoft CVEs released, 3 are rated Critical and the rest are rated Important in severity. At the time of release, one is listed as being under active attack and two as publicly known.

The security updates apply to the following products, features and roles: Windows and Windows components, Office and Office Components, Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), Exchange Server, Azure, Copilot, PowerShell, and Windows Defender.

Windows 11, version 23H2 (both Home and Pro editions) has reached end of servicing. The November 2025 monthly security update was the last update available for these editions.

Mozilla Firefox Version 146.0 Released with Security Updates

 

Mozilla sent Firefox Version 146.0 to the release channel. ESR Versions have been updated to versions 140.6.0 and 115.31.

The update includes thirteen security updates of which five (5) are rated critical and eight (8) rated moderate. The security updates can be reviewed here.

New features are included in the update.  To review the new features, see the Release Notes.

Update:  To get the update now, select "Help" from the Firefox menu and pick "About Firefox".  Mac users need to select "About Firefox" from the Firefox menu.  If you do not use the English language version, Fully Localized Versions are available for download.

November 2025 Windows 11 Non-Security Preview Update

 Microsoft released KB5070311 (OS Builds 26200.7309 and 26100.7309) for Windows 11 25H2 and Windows 11 24H2.

See the referenced KB Article for information about any quality improvements, new features and the highlights included in the update.

Note: Because of minimal operations during the Western holidays and the upcoming New Year, there will be no December 2025 non-security preview update. There will be a monthly security update for December 2025. Normal monthly servicing for both security and non-security preview updates will resume in January 2026.

Update:  To get the update, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. The link to download the update can be found in the Optional updates available section.
