Microsoft December 2025 Security Updates

 

The Microsoft December 2025 security updates have been released and consist of 56 new CVEs to Microsoft products and with third-party Chromium updates, the total CVEs is 70.  


Of the Microsoft CVEs released, 3 are rated Critical and the rest are rated Important in severity. At the time of release, one is listed as being under active attack and two as publicly known.

The security updates apply to the following products, features and roles: Windows and Windows components, Office and Office Components, Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), Exchange Server, Azure, Copilot, PowerShell, and Windows Defender.

Windows 11, version 23H2 (both Home and Pro editions) has reached end of servicing. The November 2025 monthly security update was the last update available for these editions.
