Firefox 18.0.2 was sent to the release channel today by Mozilla. Although this update does not include any security updates, the massive list of bug fixes suggests that it is advisable to install this update sooner rather than later.
Update: Thanks to a tip from a friend, I discovered that the update to version 18.0.2 added a check to the option to allow 3rd party cookies. If you, like me, do not want to accept 3rd party cookies, you can reverse the change at Firefox > Options > Privacy.

Update
To get the update now, select "Help" from the Firefox menu at the upper left of the browser window, then pick "About Firefox." Mac users need to select "About Firefox" from the Firefox menu.If you do not use the English language version, Fully Localized Versions are available for download.

Thank you Corrine for the update alert. Just checked my options>privacy, and in my case, the update has not added a tick for accepting third party cookies.

Hidpi issue still persists! I can't believe it. When FF 18.0.2 is opened on an external non-hidpi monitor, too tiny right click menu opens on hi-dpi screen (retina mbp, latest OS). What a shame. This issue has been reported since 18.0 and instead of solving they disabled hidpi in 18.0.1. When hidpi swithed off it looks terrible on hi-dpi screen. This issue really really sucks!
Think 3rd part cookies were always allowed by default. Like Basil, the latest update hasn't changed my settings.
I know the default setting is to allow 3rd party cookies. However, this is the first time an update has changed the setting. Several others have reported the same change after the update.
Strange.
