Sending Large E-mail Attachments

What do you do when Grandma and Grandpa are waiting for you to email pictures of the grandkids but the file is to large to email? You no longer need to go back to the drawing board, splitting up the file to send in separate e-mail attachments.

At Pando, you can send and receive large files up to 1 GB free. There is a drawback with the free version, however. The files are only maintained on the server for two weeks. According to RCP Mag:

"Microsoft Corp.'s Windows operating system and Internet Explorer browser are required to send files using the Web-based plug-ins, but Mac users can get the free standalone application to open them -- as well as to send their own. Windows users can also send files with the standalone program or a plug-in for Microsoft's Outlook e-mail software."

Attaching a video of a special event in your family's life, sending your Master's Thesis to your professor. All of these can easily be done and handled much safer than using P2P. Definitely something to keep in mind with the Holiday season.
