Early Update - Microsoft Security Advisory 935423, 3 April 2007

Due to the increased risk to customers from the latest attacks associated with the vulnerability in Windows animated cursor handling, described in Microsoft Security Advisory 935423, Microsoft has expedited testing to provide the April security update tomorrow, a week earlier than usual.

As announced in the
Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notice, on Tuesday 3 April 2007, Microsoft is planning to release:
  • One Microsoft Security Bulletin affecting Microsoft Windows. The highest Maximum Severity rating for these is Critical. These updates will require a restart. These updates will be detectable using the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer.
Microsoft will not release any NON-SECURITY High-Priority Updates this month.
